Hi. I recently acquired a nice 5700 that's in need of an ignition coil.
Is it possible to replace them with a different make or model ?
A similar looking Briggs & Stratton or Honda coil sells for $40.
The only Yamaha one I could find is going to set me back $150 !
Has anyone found a source for used parts ?

You probably could, but I have no idea what would work.
If you look in some of the other posts, like " Parts Drawings", there are some online suppliers listed.
Also you can check your local Yamaha dealer, as they may have something cheaper.
