Carburetor interchange

Has any one had any luck with swapping a carburetor from another manufacturer onto a yt6800? With the lack of parts availability for these carbs I wonder if another Nikki meant for a Kohler or Briggs & Stratton may do the job?

I haven't heard of anyone doing it.
You'd have to do a lot of research to figure it out.
