YT 6800 for sale

Hello,
I am looking to purchase a 1989 YT 6800 mower from a local seller.  The mower is in great shape with less than 200 hours on it.  This mower was in a wearhouse until 2001.  It has the original blade belt and it's in fair shape.  The drive belt, and blades are the only parts that are not original.  He is asking $500.00.  Is it worth it?  How hard is it gonna be to get parts for this thing?

Good price.    They still sell a lot of parts from some yamaha dealers (I think the person that started this forum is a dealer) parts are expensive but good quality.  You can get a lot of used parts used part off this forum.

Thanks YamaDog.  I think I am gonna buy it this Friday.  This mower look to be no more than a couple of years old at the most.  The only thing I can see wrong with it is the shifter guide is broken and one of the deck wheels is flopping around on it's shaft.  I cut the seller's grass with it a little bit and it runs and cuts great.  The guy says it has a little less than 200 hours on it and I don't disagree from the looks of this mower but that deck wheel would not have worn that much in 200 hours.  Either way it seems like a good buy and from what I have read it is a good mower.
