YT5700 suitable for moving a boat around the yard?

I have a boat I need to move around in the yard in some rather tight places.  On boating sites, several guys have recommended using a "garden tractor"  as opposed to a "riding lawn mower", as garden tractors have better transmissions, axles, etc.

Anyone have experience using a Yamaha Garden tractor to move a 3,500 lb boat around?  I found a YT5700, 21 HP, with hydrostatic transmission on Craigslist for $450.  Any opinion on whether this will be able to handle a boat & trailer well?  Yard and driveway are not sloped much at all.

Finally -- does this thing mow??

Thanks!!

Jeff

It will move that boat no problem. That is a 16 hp, with no deck, it should have a 42" deck, so it will not mow in it's current state. What is that metal thing under the seat? It is not worth $450 like that!
3-YT3600's, 2-YT 6800's, 1-YT6700 for parts.

Kind of looks like a pan lid...
Agree with cr250...no deck knocks off a couple hundred bucks off.
