YT6800 Deck issue

At the end of last season, the front end of the deck came off.  The 2 struts on either side of the nose of the deck appear to fit somehow into the hinged bar coming off the front of the chassis.  My grass is already over a foot tall and I need to get this put back together.

Is there a pin that slides through the deck/bar assembly?  If so, what does that connect to?  

In a bind.  Does anybody have chassis diagram showing how this all goes together?  Additionally, I can't even push the mower backward in neutral.  Seems like something is locked up.  Parking break is not set.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 Under the seat, there is a small plunger on the left side that you must pull up in order for the tractor to free-wheel. You have to hold it up while you're moving it.
 Here's a pic of the front deck assembly...


There are some cotter pins that hold the assembly onto the front of the deck (10,11)
and the other end has a couple bolts that go on the threads.
